My Story
Sago, Aanii! My name is Wonda Jamieson and my spirit name is Wabnokwe which translates to "Woman of the East," in the Ojibway language. I am a Mohawk & Ojibway woman. My Indigenous roots lye within the Six Nations of the Grand River Territory and I am of the Bear clan. I was born and raised in the city of Hamilton where I currently reside. I didn't grew up with my Indigenous language or culture and I struggled for many years with mental health and addiction issues. Since my recovery I made a commitment to healing & wellness through restoring the spirit and balance in my life. I do this my relearning my Indigenous culture, language and traditions. Ceremony has been a critical method in my healing and recovery. It is my hope for others to stive for wholeness. My intent while on this Earth walk is to be present with those who seek the same...Healing, Wellness & Recovery!
When I am not working with clients I enjoy bike riding with my miniature dachshund "Sully", thrifting & second hand shopping, unearthing new tea recipes, yoga and listening to music of all genres.
